Spotlight on 17-4PH...

Since the formation of Special Quality Alloys Ltd back in 1986, the material grade 17-4PH has been an integral part of the business. Our extensive round bar stock range has ensured our major supplier status.

A versatile grade, widely used across a range of critical industries from Oil & Gas to Aerospace, Marine, Chemical and more.

17-4PH is a martensitic, precipitation-hardening stainless steel with additions of Cu & Nb (Cb) which exhibits high strength, corrosion resistance, toughness and weldability.

Our bar stock is held in the H1150D, solution annealed and double hardened condition. Other heat treatment conditions can be supplied upon request.
