Primarily for the gate valve market, we convert our Alloy 718 and 925 ingot inventory into forged flat bar. Our specialist teams will maintain extensive stock levels and manufacture to bespoke requirements.
Fully compliant with API6A CRA & NACE MR0175 requirements
Stock is fully heat treated & tested and held in bar lengths ready to be cut to size. Material can be supplied in either black forged condition or proof-machined to a near net shape.
API6A CRA, UNS NO7718, NACE MR 0175/ISO15156, W2.4668
Alloy 718 is a versatile nickel chromium alloy, exhibiting high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Used in a range of demanding environments such as the oil & gas sector and other critical industries.
API6A CRA, UNS NO9925, NACE MR 0175/ISO15156
Alloy 925 is a nickel-iron chromium alloy, exhibiting high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Used in a range of demanding environments such as the oil & gas sector and other critical industries.
Other material grades we will manufacture to order include Alloys 625 & 725
We hold strategic inventory of Alloy 718 and 925 ingot ready for conversion.
To maintain our extensive stock levels of forged flat bar, the ingot is press forged into a rectangular section before our group companies complete the manufacturing process with heat treatment, testing and proof-machining. The product is held in full lengths and cut to our customers requirements.
For bespoke projects, our ingot stock enables a quick turnaround for our customers who are primarily gate valve manufacturers.
The process of ingot conversion is underpinned by our qualified metallurgists and materials engineers who have decades of experience in the manufacture of nickel alloy forged products.
A deep understanding of customer and industry specifications is maintained with long-standing relationships with the major OEM’s, ensuring we are at the forefront of developments in raw material requirements.
