Pride Of Yorkshire - Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity
The Special Steel Group are once again proud to support the latest fund raising initiative at the Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity.
To celebrate 150 years, the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity is embarking on its biggest ever fundraising campaign by presenting the UK’s most ambitious sculpture trail. With 150 life-sized lions and lionesses created by artists from South Yorkshire and beyond, and 150 cubs created by schools and community groups, there is plenty to explore across the region.
Following on from the Bears of Sheffield (2021) and the Herd of Sheffield (2016), Pride of Yorkshire aims to raise £2.8M which will directly contribute to the transformation of the Emergency Department at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Our sponsored lion, The Pride Shines, was created by the artist Amy Jackson and you can find it at the Meadowhall shopping centre here in Sheffield.
