Back in 2023, we installed solar panels across some of our buildings.
The environmental benefits report since installation may suggest the Sheffield weather we often complain about isn’t as bad as we believe!
CO2 reduction: 838T
Trees planted equivalent: 465
Standard coal saved equivalent: 335T
On the back of this successful operation, we have since installed further solar panels on more buildings throughout the Special Steel Group companies.
