Since the formation of Special Quality Alloys back in 1986, the material grade F6NM has been an integral feature of our round bar stock range.
This martensitic stainless grade is used extensively in the manufacture of valve parts such as bodies, gates, seats and stems for the oil & gas sector.
The addition of nickel and molybdenum creates a high strength steel with excellent sub-zero impact properties and a high level of corrosion resistance.
Solution annealed and double tempered to meet the applicable specifications:
UNS S41500, NACE MR-0175/ISO 15156, W1.4313
Stock range: 38.1mm DIA to 495.3mm DIA
